Initial observations
I'm liking this camera but had quite some difficulty getting it going to begin with. I use my notebook computer as my testing machine for both cameras and software. All these installs and un-installs result in turning Windows and its Registry into quite a mess.
When I first installed the software for this camera, I couldn't get the pan/tilt controls to work at all, and the frame refresh rate fell to one frame a minute. After messing with it for a while, I decided to clean out all the older Logetech drivers from other cameras. Took a while and quite a few reboots. Then I downloaded the latest driver from Logetech, installed it and everything worked great.
Logitech seems to have solved the face tracking problem I reported with the earlier Orbit. It tracks my face quite nicely, the color and clarity of the image is quite good. I still wish there was a focus control, looks like the camera is basically focusing at about 4 feet.
